    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive secondary school team. This role will primarily involve working 1:1 with students with EHCP’s, alongside delivering small group interventions and providing some in-class support across the curriculum.

    You will play a key role in helping students with additional needs to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their potential—particularly in Mathematics and, where possible, Science.

    You will also help in promoting emotional literacy, wellbeing, and independence, working as part of a small, committed SEND team, monitoring progress and contributing to support plans.

    • Strong Maths skills (essential)
    • Experience working with young people, ideally with SEN
    • Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students
    • A team player with a flexible and proactive approach
    • Knowledge of Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia
    • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
    • Experience supporting Science learning is desirable as is a knowledge of SEND strategies and interventions and adaptive teaching
    • Training or qualifications in emotional literacy / wellbeing and an understanding of EHCP’s would also be desirable.
  • MINI BUS DRIVER
    22 hours per week, term time only
    Required as soon as possible
    Salary – Grade 3 £28,100 (Full Time Equivalent salary)
    £13,028 (Actual Pro-Rated Salary)
    £15 per hour

    We require Professional drivers to transport pupils in the School Minibus, 22 hours per week, AM & PM shifts, Monday to Friday, term time only.  Extra hours may be available during the school day to help with trips and other activities.  A full clean driving licence with public operator licence qualification (PSV), previous Minibus driving experience and good interpersonal skills are all essential.

    Applications are welcome from drivers who have a full clean driving license and minibus driving experience but do not have the PSV qualification.  In this instance, full training will be provided but this will be subject to a payback period of employment.

    Police checks, references, medical and driving assessments will be required, as well as the need to pass the relevant First Aid Course.

  • RELIEF MINIBUS DRIVER

    We require relief minibus drivers to join our regular driving team to ensure cover for the transport of pupils to and from school, school trips, sporting fixtures and other activities.  Hours will be dependent on what support is required.  Hours would be Monday to Friday, term time only. £13.64 per hour, plus holiday pay allowance.  A full clean driving license with public operator license qualification (PSV), previous Minibus driving experience and good interpersonal skills are all essential.  Police checks, references, medical and driving assessments will be required, as well as the need to pass the relevant First Aid Course.
