There is no better way to experience life in our beautiful Reception classrooms and across the school than by visiting in person.  Meet our Reception team, explore the classroom and grounds and find out more about the benefits an all-through education from Reception onwards. Email our admissions team to arrange your visit or register for our Open Days.

To apply for a place in our Reception, please complete an online application on our Admissions platform.  Registering is straightforward and you will be asked to pay a £120 non-refundable deposit.  When you are applying for your child’s place, you will also have the opportunity to apply for themto join our Rising Fives programme, available to pupils the term after they turn 4 and who will be joining the Reception class.

Once you are happy that Shrewsbury High School is the right place for your child, and have received your offer letter, you must complete the online parent contract within a certain time and pay a £500 refundable deposit. We will hold the deposit until the end of your child’s final term at school and refund it within 12 weeks of their departure, minus any sums owed to the GDST or the school at that time. We cannot refund the deposit if you withdraw your child after accepting the place.
