Sixth Formers thrive with teachers who challenge them, communicate well, engage, enthuse, give freedom, help them achieve, are inspiring, supportive and who can motivate them. Our Sixth Formers also increasingly recognise the value of skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication.

Opportunities include the innovative GDST Leadership and Enterprise Diploma (LEAD), accredited by the London School of Economics, the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and the GDST Space Technology Diploma. Girls can complete Duke of Edinburgh Gold, work alongside business in the Engineering Education Scheme, develop real life skills in Period X and run a variety of societies and events as well as edit and publish literary and science magazines.
